SCULPT table

The sculpt table is a high-end product made of solid wood. It consists of two surfaces that are combined into one composition. The innovative approach to the design of the SCULPT table is reflected in the functionality and modernity of the item. The sculpt table is available in a natural and black color.

CONTEXT

In our work, we look for inspiration in nature, and at the same time, we are focused on modern expression in design that follows the latest technologies. The SCULPT table is a response to the need to shape volume in the space and desire for a place of rest, entertainment and togetherness at home, but also in public and business areas.

CONCEPT

Geometric – it is a split ellipsoid that is connected to a stainless steel mandrel. Both half ellipsoids are identical. The dynamics of form are achieved in that the upper half of the table can be rotated. Achieved flexibility in one form, combines clean lines offering functionality and aesthetics of sustainability to the object. The sculpt requires a higher space in order for its design quality to come to the fore. Wood processing is performed by a robot and is finely sanded and coated with a final layer of oil or varnish in accordance with high aesthetic standards.

CURIOSITIES

Formally, this table is not a sculpture, although it reminds of one. The sculpt table was named like this because of its design which has strong connotations with sculpture respecting the spaciousness, three-dimensionality of the body, and harmony with nature.
